The Smeg fridge brings a retro look to many homes across the country – with fans including Wallace and Gromit! A widely recognisable product, the appliance is available in a wide range of soft 50’s pastels and various limited edition prints.
The company was set up in Italy in 1948 and established originally as a metal enamelling factory. They soon began developing appliances and in 1956 the first Smeg cooker was launched. They soon followed with one of the first ever front loaded washing machines.
In the 1990’s – the iconic Smeg retro fridge was released. The curvy look was a massive hit to add a quirky spin to the kitchen. Today, the fridges are still as popular as ever. They are an aesthetically pleasing item that can work amazingly well to enhance a kitchen design.
