Space
The starting point: where we study the space, it's shape; it's natural light and its dark corners, the walls and floor that exists. Is the access right? We get to know you and what dreams and aspirations you have for your kitchen.
How many people cook ? Do you entertain and how often? Is this going to be the family room for play and study? Are structural changes necessary to improve the use of the room?

Design
After the shape of the room, we look at design in all its forms. Starting with function - where the cooker. sink and fridge will go. How much storage is required? Does the kitchen want a traditional feel. or a contemporary one?
A kitchen has to be practical and the space must flow. How important is fashion? Impact?

Choice
With the shape and use of the kitchen outlined, your individuality comes in here. After practicality, it comes down to feel, texture and mood.
Do you want to cook on gas, oil or electricity? What sort of cooker? What about cabinets, flooring, finishes, appliances, colour schemes, handles? We will make suggestions and provide samples to enable your choice.

Making it real
This is where the careful planning starts. Measuring, budgeting, ordering, scheduling of builders, installers, craftsmen and decorators.
A pre-fit survey will be drawn up. Details may change after this stage but it is the hard work that goes into this pre-build stage will make all the difference to the smooth installation and the overall quality!

Preparation
Out with the old kitchen and the heavy work begins. There is no disguising, this is the 'messy' phase. There are builders, plumbers, electricians, floors come up, ceilings come down.
But it is just a phase... and it will soon be over. |

Installation
In with the new... the experts come in. The flooring people, the joiners, electricians, installers and carpenters all come through in their turn.
This is the most exciting phase as the new kitchen takes shape.

Finishing touches
The kitchen is almost complete. A final coat of oil, cleaning and decorative finishes. Curtains and blinds are hung.
Adjustments are made to hinges and small details. Small glitches are ironed out.. and pictures are hung. Your kitchen is ready for you to enjoy...

After care
We are never far away in the first couple of weeks of a new kitchen's life - to answer questions or iron out problems.
After completion we conduct a review and provide support as needed including advice and recommendations for long term care.
